Snow Cross

A single-minded boardercross specialist, Nate Holland defines the sport’s chaotic style by dropping the pedal in every race. No friends. No brakes. No slowing down. With seven X Games gold and counting, Nate has enough precious metal to gild his driveway. Migrating from the sun-dappled hills of Northern Idaho to the vertical playground of Squaw Valley, California, he’s the unmistakable face of boardercross in the USA. In regards to his discipline of choice, Nate started early and realized quickly he was fast. Real fast. His confidence never wavered, earning him the first gold medal five-peat in X Games history. In 2012, Nate earned another X Games Gold and two World Cup podiums before bowing out with a broken shoulder blade. Sochi will mark his third Olympic Games. He’s a big dude in the world’s biggest race, so we’ve got big expectations, as we might.
