GoPro Inks Multi-Year Deal As Presenting Sponsor of NBC’s World of Adventure Sports
New York, NY – April 17, 2013 – Alli Sports, a division of the NBC Sports Group, announced today a strategic partnership with executive producers 360 Ventures for the Emmy Award-winning television series, World of Adventure Sports (WOAS). The program, which is currently broadcast on NBC, NBC Sports Network and Universal Sports, will see expanded cross-promotion, and digital and international distribution as part of the Alli Sports family.
In conjunction with today’s announcement, GoPro has signed a multi-year deal to be the presenting sponsor of World of Adventure Sports. GoPro, maker of the world’s most versatile camera and producer of some of today’s most engaging content, is uniquely suited to be an innovative partner of World of Adventure Sports. GoPro will be fully integrated into the content through their athletes and use of the GoPro HERO3 cameras for in-broadcast shots.
