The Doctor is back, and he is more passionate than ever. The 9x MotoGP World Champion, Valentino Rossi, currently sits in second in the 2018 standings, and while he isn’t experiencing his winningest season, Valentino is not showing any signs of slowing down. He is persevering, and this is something we’ve come to expect from The Doctor, especially when taking a look at his career.

In GoPro: Valentino Rossi – Passion, Valentino and his team explain that the road has not always been smooth, but Valentino is not one to give up. For the first time, we follow his steps as a young racer becoming one of the world’s greatest athletes—going from Honda to Yamaha to Ducati, and ultimately, back to his current spot on Yamaha. While many would’ve seen the trying times at Ducati as the end, Valentino did not. Instead, he recalls thinking: “I know, inside of me, I have enough strength and energy for a comeback.”

As he’s been weaving his way back to the podium, Valentino has also poured himself into the V46 Riders Academy that he founded in 2014. Valentino explains how he is passionate about training and challenging the next generation, as seen in the video.

The 2018 MotoGP series is headed to San Marino in Rossi’s home country this Sunday, Sept. 9, after rain forced officials to call off the British Grand Prix. Best of luck, Valentino!
