When John Ross III started catching footballs in Snoop Dogg's Youth Football League as a kid, everyone knew he had something special. From there, the Long Beach, California native took high school athletics by storm, lighting up the football field on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and cornerback. In the spring, he ran away from the competition on the track, specializing in the 100-meter dash.

By the time he was a senior, Ross was a top prospect out of California, and he committed to the University of Washington where he played as a true freshman in 2013. Again, he showed his strengths on both sides of the ball, playing wide-out and corner. After an injury setback in his thrid season with the Dawgs, Ross took the Pac-12 by storm, racking up 17 touchdowns in the 2016 season.

At the beginning of this year, Ross announced that he would forego his senior year at UW to enter the NFL Draft. As one of the fastest and talented prospects in the draft,  Ross had the spolight shined squarely on him.

With a GoPro HERO5 Black in hand, Ross captured all of the memorable and exciting moments on Draft Day; a time he won't ever forget, and one that he can relive as much as he wants thanks to his HERO5.

John Ross III was selected ninth overall by the Cincinnati Bengals, and so the SoCal native will be taking his talents to Ohio, where he will surely be creating a storied professional career in the NFL. Congratulations, John!
