GoPro Celebrates CSR Efforts with 12 Days of Cause
By Alena Roland, Director of Benefits and People Operations, GoPro
GoPro’s culture is powered by an incredible group of altruistic employees who donate time, money and cameras to charitable organizations through the GoPro Employees for a Cause program. At the end of each year, the program culminates in a 12 Days of Cause event, during which teams and groups of employees spend time each day giving back to their communities. From sorting food for the hungry to building bicycles and teaching ocean safety to kids in underrepresented communities, GoPro employees power our CSR (corporate social responsibility) efforts.
This year, during the 12 Days of Cause (Nov. 27 – Dec. 8), employees in GoPro offices around the world volunteered more than 1600 hours with 36 organizations. This is a truly unique, truly GoPro approach to the holiday, sharing the passion and enthusiasm of the GoPro team with causes that we care about.
As the steward for the program, I’d like to share a giant personal thank you to our global team who amplify our company’s core values within their communities and have dedicated their time and resources to helping others throughout the year.
