We might not have a red carpet outside our office, but we sure are feeling the award season vibes here at GoPro. HERO7 Black has earned another accolade for its combo of new features and image quality, this time from the folks that bring us the biggest tech tradeshow in all the land—CES!

The CES 2019 Innovation Awards were just announced, and GoPro is among the honorees being recognized for HERO7 Black’s outstanding design and engineering in the digital imaging category. This annual CES program celebrates outstanding design, with an independent panel of judges evaluating new products on their consumer appeal, functionality, engineering and how well the products compare with the competition.

Powered by GoPro’s custom-designed GP1 processor, HERO7 Black was selected by the Innovation Awards judging panel for its next level of performance, including the game-changing HyperSmooth feature, which delivers gimbal-like stabilization built right into the camera. Additional new features like TimeWarp Video, SuperPhoto and the ability to live stream right from the camera were also factors in the camera’s win, while its core DNA of waterproof and rugged design, voice control, intuitive touch screen and seamless transfer of content to your mobile device made HERO7 Black a standout in the category.

GoPro will demo the entire HERO7 lineup, as well as Fusion and its other award-winning products at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 8 – 11, 2019.
