Local Regulations and Limitations

Question

What are the local regulations and limitations for flying drones?

Where does it apply?

  • Karma

Answer

Before flying your Karma Drone, make sure to check all flight regulations and restrictions for your flying area. In the United States, the FAA governs air space and has specific limitations that apply to your drone. Here are some examples:
  • Fly below 400 feet
  • Operate in sunlight and civil twilight (30 minutes before sunset) only
  • Keep the drone in your sight at all times
  • Do not fly over people or crowds
  • Stay far away from manned aircrafts
