The GoPro App supports Live Preview (the ability to see what the camera sees while recording) in many resolutions. Sometimes you might see 'Preview Not Supported' or a 'Camera Busy' message appear. This means that the resolutions and/or fps is too high to be supported by Live Preview.
FYI:
- If Time Lapse Photo is not showing a live preview, shoot at a higher interval starting at 2 seconds.
- Time Lapse Video, Night Lapse and Burst Mode is not supported by live preview.
- Protune is not supported in most cases.
Please find your camera model below to learn where Live Preview should be supported by the GoPro App.
Almost all resolutions and frame rates are supported from the HERO5. If you do not see Live Preview, you can try another resolution, or your device might not support the high frame rate/resolution you are shooting in.
