Earlier this month, GoPro worked closely with Vogue Magazine to assist their production team capture, create and share two 100% GoPro edits during New York Fashion Week. The first edit was a behind the scenes piece with world-renowned makeup artist, James Kaliardos, leading up to the Rodarte show. The second was a day in the life story with supermodel, Karlie Kloss, who also happens to be on the cover of Vogue this month! Check out the edit HERE.

GoPro also teamed up with tech savvy fashion designers, Rebecca Minkoff and Nicole Miller, to execute two unique activations around both runway shows.

Rebecca Minkoff’s team streamed their runway show LIVE on GoPro, offering 4 unique perspectives, including a “Rebecca Cam” which followed the designer before and during the show; “Band Cam” which was mounted to musical guest, Marian Hill; “Front Row Cam” offering a unique POV through the eyes of fashion blogger Collage Vintage; and the “Backstage Cam” capturing interviews, hair & makeup and behind the scenes content.

The show streamed live on RebeccaMinkoff.com, as well as in both San Francisco and New York City storefronts. Minkoff’s use of technology truly changed how people experienced the runaway show - a New York Fashion Week first!

GoPro also helped to train Nicole Miller’s production team on best practices for capturing behind the scenes content, providing the world access to see what it takes to produce a runway show at New York Fashion Week.

Nicole Miller’s CEO, Bud Konheim, appeared on CNBC to talk about teaming up with GoPro, explaining the benefits of the HERO4 technology to their fashion consumers.
