This weekend Mammoth Mountain, Calif., hosted the 2022 Toyota U.S. Grand Prix. It was the last of the four U.S. Olympic 2021-22 Halfpipe and Slopestyle qualifying events. And it was hands down the best event of the season, setting the tone for the upcoming winter Olympics and – drum roll please – sealing GoPro athletes Jamie Anderson, Hailey Langland and Nico Porteous bids to compete in Beijing. Huge congratulations to you all!

In addition to making Olympic dreams come true, both Jamie and Nico went on to lay down first place runs in the amazing Unbound Terrain Park set up by the Mammoth Unbound Team.

Jamie, after a tough fall in her first run, went on to nail her second, landing a switch double cork 1080. This standout performance landed her a first place finish in the Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle event.

Despite some nasty wind delaying the freeski finals and a tough first run, Nico showed up ready to send it and had the highest scoring run of the day (97.00) by throwing back-to-back double 1620s. Nico took home first in the Men’s Freeski Halfpipe, celebrating with a classic shoey on the podium.

Huge congratulations to Jamie, Nico and Hailey. We can’t wait to cheer you and the rest of our GoPro athletes as they take on the world’s stage in Beijing!
