From the tiara she wore on the podium in 2006 to her sun-soaked Hawaiian off-seasons, Julia Mancuso knows how to fly. Most decorated Olympic female American alpine skier. Squaw Valley’s favorite bird. With a Gold in Torino in 2006 (Giant Slalom) and Silver in Vancouver in 2010 (Downhill and Combined), she’s two-for-two in the Olympic Winter Games and looking to keep the streak alive. On the topic of two’s, Julia has two sisters, April and Sara, who she counts among her closest friends. Surfing, SUP and scuba diving round out her fitness routine and add up to what could only be described as a divinely balanced life.
