Preferring foam pits to cinnamon lattes and air bags to seat belts, Elena Hight takes her pipe training seriously. In 2002, at the tender age of 13, she became the first female to toss a 900 in competition. In 2007, she stomped the beloved twirly birds back to back. In 2012, she set down her well-toned landing gear* on a Double Backside Rodeo, becoming the first snowboarder of either gender to do so and rewriting history once again. (*ESPN Magazine. The Body Issue.) Splitting time between Hawaii, where she was born, and Lake Tahoe, where she grew up, Elena lives a healthy lifestyle, loves to be outside, and has her sights set on Gold in 2014.
