The battery charge current varies during the charging cycle from 1A to 60mA. The maximum current depends on the source. 1A from a wall charger. 500mA off a laptop USB 2.0 port.

In some rare cases the HERO3+ Silver Edition camera may power cycle if you are navigating very quickly between different modes on the LCD Touch BacPac. If this issue occurs, the solution is just to navigate a little slower through the camera modes.
In some cases the HERO3+ Silver Edition camera may not always auto reconnect to App if you go out of range and then come back into range. In some cases the HERO3+ Silver Edition camera may not power off after the SD card reads FULL from filling up the card during recording. In the rare case that this happens to you, the solution is to remove and then reinsert the camera battery.
In some rare cases when powering up the HERO3+ Silver Edition, the camera's shows pixelated black dots on the bottom 1/3rd of the LCD screen and is blank on the top 2/3rds of the LCD screen. If you notice that your HERO3+ camera is recording for significantly shorter than expected durations, this article should help you out. You should be able to record in 1080p 30fps for about 2 hours for HERO3+ Black Edition or 3 hours for the HERO3+ Silver Edition, until the batter runs out. If a chapter of a loop video creates a new folder (i.e. G0019999, then the next file is G0000001 in a new folder), looping doesn't delete the first chapter once the time-limit is reached. Instead, it creates chapters until the card is FULL. The workaround for this issue is to reformat the card often so that you don't make it roll over to a new folder.
