Using the Camera While Charging

You can simultaneously charge and record with the camera. To do this, you can use the supplied USB cable. Use that to connect your camera to a USB wall charger or auto charger that outputs 5V and 1A. You cannot record while the camera is connected to a computer.

Continuous Photo Mode Information

Continuous Photo mode allows you to capture a series of Photos continuously while holding down the Shutter button until you release the shutter button, or until the camera has taken 30 photos. exFAT Computer Compatibility

If your computer tells you to format your 64 GB MicroSD card every time you connect it to your computer, but your computer won’t actually let you format the card, this means that either the card is defective or your computer doesn’t support the exFAT file system. How to Prevent the Lens from Fogging During Filming

If you are using the camera in an environment where the inside of the housing lens is fogging up during use, we do have the Anti-Fog Inserts designed specifically for the HD HERO camera. How to Prevent Wind Noise on Videos

If you find that you are picking up too much wind noise in your recording, there are several things you can do to minimize this: When you don't need the camera to be waterproof and are traveling under 100MPH, you can use the open back housing door. The File Repair Icon is Displayed on the Camera

What's the issue? If you see a picture of a bicycle and a plus sign (+) on your camera’s screen, or a bandage (HERO4), that’s the file repair icon. This means that your file was corrupted during filming for some reason. While the icon is showing on the screen, press ANY BUTTON on the camera, and the camera will repair the file.
