Camera Freezes Up

If your camera is freezing up, that usually means that you need to update the camera's software or there are some issues with the SD card. What is the F-stop in the HERO3+ Camera?

The f-stop size for HERO3+ cameras (Both Black and Silver Edition) is f/2.8.  

HERO3+ and BacPac Accessory Housing / Backdoor Information

When using a HERO3+ camera with a Battery BacPac or LCD Touch BacPac you have a couple of options: If you have the Dive Housing that came with HERO3, you can use the existing BacPac Backdoor that came with your BacPac accessory. SD Card Recommendations

It's important to use one of the recommended SD cards in your camera, or you may experience freeze-up or video corruption issues. We recommend only purchasing name brand SD cards through reputable resellers. HERO3 Camera Will Not Power ON

If your camera is not powering on, there could be a fault with the camera, battery, SD card, or there could be a loose connection somewhere.  We have some tips for you to try that should clear up the issue for you.
