Camera Battery-life with the LCD BacPac

If the LCD BacPac or LCD Touch BacPac is kept on continuously throughout recording, you will have about half of the normal run time. The HD HERO (Original) and HERO3+ cameras do, however, have a setting to have the LCD screen automatically power off 60 seconds after the last button press. Underwater Focus - HD HERO & HD HERO2

Due to the curved lens of the waterproof housing for the HD HERO and HD HERO2 cameras and standard def Wide HERO cameras, you will notice a slight loss of sharpness/focus to underwater images. The File Repair Icon is Displayed on the Camera

What's the issue? If you see a picture of a bicycle and a plus sign (+) on your camera’s screen, or a bandage (HERO4), that’s the file repair icon. This means that your file was corrupted during filming for some reason. While the icon is showing on the screen, press ANY BUTTON on the camera, and the camera will repair the file.
