iOS Photo Album Authorization for the GoPro App

On an iOS device, in order to use the new Copy and Share features you need to authorize the GoPro App to have access to your device's native photo album.  If you have not authorized the app you will get a message that states: "GoPro is not allowed to access your photos. Updating Camera Software for GoPro App Compatibility

In order to use the new features in the latest GoPro App update, it is requires to update your GoPro camera software. If you do not update your camera software you will get a message within the GoPro App that states: "Firmware Update Required". HERO3 and HD HERO2 Resolutions Supported by GoPro App Preview (iOS and Android OS)

The following chart shows the supported video resolutions for video preview in the GoPro App. *If preview doesn't start using 960p, try using a different resolution such as: 1080p or 720p

GoPro App - Why are thumbnails displayed for videos that cannot be played or downloaded?

This is normal. The reason is that we want you to be able to see what content you have on your camera even if your phone doesn't support playing back or downloading that content. One example of content that will cause this if you are trying to play back video recorded in Protune. GoPro App - Downloading High Resolution vs. Low Resolution Video

GoPro App Only Works When Airplane Mode is ON

Is it Possible to Connect and Control Multiple Cameras in the GoPro App?

This is not currently supported. You will need to switch between wireless networks for each camera, so it will connect to one camera at a time.

Why Should I Download Video or Photo Files to My Mobile Device in the GoPro App?
