If you encounter any of the following issues after having already updated the software for all of your products, try resetting your camera, Wi-Fi BacPac, and Wi-Fi Remote. That should clear up the problem for you!
- Lost connection.
- Camera froze.
- Wi-Fi icon on remote only shows a dot.
- The remote is not controlling all paired cameras.
Here's how you can reset everything:
Resetting your camera:
- Power off the camera.
- Remove the Wi-Fi BacPac.
- Remove the battery and SD card.
- Reinsert the battery and SD card.
Resetting your Wi-Fi BacPac and Remote:
- Disconnect the Wi-Fi BacPac from the camera. (This should have been done when you reset the camera.)
- Power off the Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-Fi Remote.
- Power on Wi-Fi BacPac.
- With the camera powered on, connect the Wi-Fi BacPac to the camera.
- Power on the Wi-Fi Remote. The remote should pair with the Wi-Fi BacPac automatically, and you should be good to go!
