If you encounter any of the following issues after having already updated the software for all of your products, try resetting your camera, Wi-Fi BacPac, and Wi-Fi Remote.  That should clear up the problem for you!

  • Lost connection.
  • Camera froze.
  • Wi-Fi icon on remote only shows a dot.
  • The remote is not controlling all paired cameras.
 
Here's how you can reset everything:
 
Resetting your camera:
  1. Power off the camera.
  2. Remove the Wi-Fi BacPac.
  3. Remove the battery and SD card.
  4. Reinsert the battery and SD card.
 
Resetting your Wi-Fi BacPac and Remote:
  1. Disconnect the Wi-Fi BacPac from the camera. (This should have been done when you reset the camera.)
  2. Power off the Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-Fi Remote.
  3. Power on Wi-Fi BacPac.
  4. With the camera powered on, connect the Wi-Fi BacPac to the camera.
  5. Power on the Wi-Fi Remote.  The remote should pair with the Wi-Fi BacPac automatically, and you should be good to go!
