If you are in One Button mode and receiving the NO SD message on the LCD screen and you do in fact have an SD card inserted, this article should help resolve the issue.
First, make sure that you have the latest camera software version installed and it should resolve the issue.
If the update does not resolve the issue, follow these steps
- Power off/on the camera again, and it should not show NO SD. If the camera stays on the NO SD message every time you power on the camera and you cannot take pictures or videos, then
- Remove and reinsert the SD card.
- If the camera still shows NO SD, use a card reader for format it in the computer. Remember that reformatting the SD card will delete all files off of it, so make sure that you transfer files you want to keep to your computer's hard drive before reformatting the card.
If you can't reformat the SD card on the computer, it may be corrupted. At this point, try a different SD card in the camera. Please contact your SD card manufacturer about your potentially corrupt SD card.
