GoPro Proudly Welcomes Sean Malto to the Team

SAN MATEO, CA (April 20, 2013) – GoPro, maker of the world’s most versatile cameras and producer of some of today’s most engaging content, is proud to welcome Sean Malto to the team.



When he is not competing at X Games and Street League, the 2009 TransWorld SKATEboarding Rookie of the Year and 2011 Street League champion travels the world with Girl Skateboards, Nike SB, and his other sponsors to constantly progress the levels of street skating.

“I am super excited to have and use the camera. I’ve really never been able to capture my experiences on my own. I’m excited to start working on edits and creating content…And you know I’m taking selfies to the next level,” said Malto.

The Leavenworth, Kansas, native turned pro in 2008, and since then Malto has positioned himself alongside an elite class of street skaters.

“We are so excited for Sean to join our street skate program. With his skill and creativity coupled with the performance and versatility of GoPro cameras, the possibilities are endless,” said Todd Ballard, Director of Sports Marketing at GoPro.
