GoPro Athlete Ken Roczen is the New 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Champion

Red Bull KTM's Ken Roczen wasted no time establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in his rookie season in the premier 450 class of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. The 20-year-old already boasts a decorated 250cc career, but he solidified his place in history today by winning the 2014 Pro Motocross Championship at the final round of the series at Utah's Miller Motorsports Park.

Kenny christened his inuagural 450cc campaign with a second-place finish at the season opener at Glen Helen, then stepped up to the top of the podium the following weekend at Hangtown. With early momentum on his side, Kenny continued to battle for wins and podiums each and every weekend, never finishing a moto worse than fourth.

With a fresh championship under his belt, Kenny will be returning to work immediately to prepare for a 2015 season aboard a new bike with a new team. A now long-time KTM rider, Roczen started his career with Suzuki, and he will be returning the yellow bike for 2015 with the RCH Racing team.

From everyone at GoPro, Congratulations Kenny on an amazing season!

GoPro has allowed us to capture and share fascinating new perspectives that previously weren’t possible or were too costly, which in the end makes for better story telling. We are always excited to see what GoPro is working on next."
