Experience the SCORE Baja 1000 with Bryce Menzies and GoPro

Bryce Menzies and the Menzies Motorsports team are fresh off a second-place-overall finish at the San Felipe 250, and are gearing up for the first round of the TORC Off-Road Championship at Primm, so it is only fitting that GoPro launches its first full-length story video of the dominant racer.

This past November, GoPro athlete Bryce Menzies embarked on the grueling 1000-mile quest for glory that is the SCORE Baja 1000. With a small GoPro production crew at his side and HERO3 cameras capturing every possible angle, Menzies took the Mexican peninsula by storm.

From start to checkered flag, get the most comprehensive, up-close experience at one of the most intense, dangerous races in the world.  In the cockpit, at the checkpoints…see Baja through the eyes of Menzies, his co-pilot, his mechanics, and even the GoPro staff.

As GoPro’s longest edit to date, Menzies’ Baja 1000 race video tells the entire story of the trophy truck racer’s battle through the desert. From his chase for the lead, to the truck’s mechanical issues, to his support staff as they track him throughout the course, you watch it all unfold with unprecedented viewpoints. Whether you are a die-hard race fan or a casual observer, you will not want to miss this.

Mark Burnett, five-time Emmy award winner and avid GoPro customer, said in a previous statement, "We have used GoPro cameras in some of our biggest productions, like Survivor and The Bible. GoPro has allowed us to capture and share fascinating new perspectives that previously weren’t possible or were too costly, which in the end makes for better story telling. We are always excited to see what GoPro is working on next."

"In a world of smartphones and increasingly small cameras, GoPro is still the film fans device of choice and the rugged gadget that will launch the careers of many future directors. If in doubt, check out the home made rocket that took a GoPro to space or the shark footage, both on YouTube." - T3 Award for the GoPro HERO3
