GoPro to Capture On-Board Course Previews from Top GoPro Athletes for ESPN Broadcast

SAN MATEO, CA (March 15, 2013) – GoPro, maker of the world’s most versatile camera and producer of today’s most engaging content returns to Tignes, France as the official camera sponsor of X Games Tignes, March 20-22, 2013. Teaming the HERO3 camera with its top athletes, GoPro will produce totally unique content only they can capture. Stay tuned to ESPN, Extreme Sports Channel and the GoPro Network to catch never before seen course previews, including Ski and Snowboard Pipe and Slopestyle leading up to the final days of competition.

GoPro will produce exclusive content for both online ESPN and Extreme Sports Channel television broadcasts including GoPro Course Previews, which will show viewers the competition from the athletes’ perspectives. The compact size and mount-anywhere design of the GoPro HERO3 camera enables ESPN, Extreme Sports Channel, and GoPro to visually immerse fans into the experience of the X Games like never before.
